🎯 Omaha Update: Cards Are Battling Through the Bracket
The University of Louisville baseball team has kicked off its College World Series journey with two hard-fought games:
Game 1 vs. Oregon State (Loss, 4–3)
The Cards clawed their way back from a 3–1 deficit in the ninth inning—highlighted by Zion Rose’s triple, Tague Davis’s RBI, Alex Alicea’s error-caused run, and Kamau Neighbors’s game-tying hit—but couldn’t hold on. Gavin Turley’s walk-off double sealed a tough 4–3 loss .
Game 2 vs. Arizona (Win, 8–3)
Facing elimination with just six outs remaining, Louisville erupted for SIX runs in the eighth inning. Zion Rose’s two-run single ignited the rally, followed by back-to-back RBI hits and a squeeze bunt, pushing the Cardinals to a stunning 8–3 victory over Arizona.

CARD MAKES HISTORY IN OMAHA
Have a day, Kamau Neighbors!
Neighbors' performance helped the Cardinals secure an 8-3 victory and advance in the tournament. He was the only Cardinal with a perfect 4-for-4 day at the plate. Neighbors' achievement was acknowledged by the NCAA, who recognized him as the first Louisville player to accomplish this in the College World Series.
